Queen Rania of Jordan

Queen Rania: Jordan's queen consort, a global advocate for education, women and refugees.

Queen Rania Al Abdullah, born in Kuwait of Palestinian heritage, married the then-Prince Abdullah in 1993 and became Queen consort in 1999. She is widely known for her work on education, women's empowerment, cross-cultural understanding and the humanitarian response to refugees.
